Her name is Kammy (but we (others in the family) don't like that name)...however, we can't think of anything else to name her. So I'm taking suggestions...lol
She's so cute...and she smells good too. She even has a hot pink doggie leash with diamonds around the neck....(you know I love that right??)
Rika. is so neat and clean about her dog care. Kammy smells just like a new baby.
I always used to make fun of people with dogs...but ever since I laid eyes on her. I've been smitten! Hell, I'm planning birthday parties, doggy outings and play dates.
She's my "God Doggy-Daughter" - I'm a new Mom sort of.
Do you think we should have a christening? Well, God Forbid, something happens to Rika, I will solemnly pledge before God to be the best parent for her while Rika is unavailable....LOL! HA!!!!
Anyway, Rika is going on vacation in 2 weeks...and due to my busy schedule with work and the show, I won't be able to baby-sit (unfortunately). But I'll be picking her up from the Doggy Daycare a few times and we'll be coming to visit her every other day. Because I know Kammy will be very sad and lonely and she'll miss her family.
But the most hilarious thing about this new baby is that Rika finally knows what it feels like to be a MOM! LOL - because Kammy is so young, Rika has found out that she can't come and go as she pleases in the evenings. Especially before she got her shots, she couldnt' really take her out and do anything.
The weekend she brought her home, I wanted to go to the club...and when Rika told me she couldn't go because she didn't have a baby sitter and didn't want to leave her alone, I almost went crazy laughing! It was so funny.

I have to tell you, I was one of those people who did not want a dog sniffing, licking, or touching me, let alone touching it and someday having one. So, I have come a long way.

Rika - I think Tiffany will be a good babysitter. I really do...she's good with Selah. And she pays attention to everything...I will say that. She's really good with the kids...I've seen her.
So I would totally let her baby sit. lol
T.C.-Thank you. She is a very friendly, people dog so her getting used to you will take no time. I go to Coasta Rica in less than 2 weeks so I wish I had known but it's all good. I am gonna put her in Noah's Ark Boarding Schoool for dogs so tha I can get her obedience trained. She is a very good dog and she is very submissive. She learns quick. In less than 2 weeks, she is already potty trained and pretty much house broken. Is jsut that she ahs no idea what sit, stay, the dog whistle, or come one means. She just looks at you and do all of those things when she wants to...LOL!!!! I will take you up on your offer one of these days though...you can count on it.
J.A.C.-Because of my allergies and eye issues, I can't have anything around my house dusty and/or shedding. So she doesn't shed and she is pretty much a house dog. She had a couple of mistakes her first week home and I bathed her with this nice smelling doggy shampoo but other than that, I do my daily home grooming. I brush her hair and wipe her down with doggy wipes that are powder fresh scented. The wipes are just like baby wipes and come in the same exact kind of container but they are for dogs. I too can't stand the dog smell so I try my best to keep her smelling very fresh. Dogs can't be bathed more than once a month (I already violated that. She has had 3 thus far because of her boo boo's) because it will dry out their skin. So, I also lotion/moisturize her down after her wipe down with doggy mositurizer which smells good as well. As soon as I can, I will get her groomed and get a lot of her hair cut down. She can't get groomed until she has her rabies shot. Right now she is only 11 weeks old but as soon as she turns 14 weeks old, I can get her rabies shot. She gets her rabies shot right after I get back from vacation and then I get her spayed 2 weeks after that.

But for real, Rika is real Anal with stuff...you should see her house - everything is in a perfect place...her CD collection, pictures, shoes, food, everything.
She's so ANAL with that type of stuff.
She used to lay me out a while back because I"m the total opposite, I would come to her house and leave stuff out, or not put a CD back a certain way. IT was the worst.
YOU know people like me with A.D.D. can't put stuff back right away...lol
She gets on my nerves...I actually can't believe we're so close...cause in some ways we're so different.
J.A.C.-It's not that serious at all. It seems like more than what it really is. It only takes a total of 2 minutes, if that, to do that. If you are gonna get an animal, you should take proper care of it. After all, it is a choice. Plus, I don't want her getting fleas or whatever and bringing it in my house. That's just nasty. YOu are right, I do treat her better than some people treat their faces. That's unfortunate and for those people, THAT'S A DAMN SHAME...LOL!!! People should learn to make the time to take better care of THEIR FACES!!! Eeew...LOL!!!
It Is What It Is-You are absolutely right. I don't know how we are so close either because we are night and day.It is a positive thing because we will tell one another about ourselves. Their are nto too many people who will do that.
Yes, I am very anal...unfortunately. I am a neat freak. I like things neat and in order (my CD's are in alphabetical order in my albums and CD racks and labeled. my DVD's are in alphabetical order as well) but lately I've been slacking. My house is so junky to me. My steps have crap on them that need to go upstairs and I go upstairs everyday and still don't take it. Camie's stuff is all over the place. I need to get my place in order ASAP. I am gonna do it today after I wash clothes.

i am anal with certain stuff and totally junky and out of control with other stuff...like my living area and things needs to be a certain way, while my closet is a HAM (by the way i am looking for someone to organize it)
but i can say you do tell each other about yourselves and that's the BEAUTY in your relationship! (and you two throw it my way from time to time too....HELLO)
